Where are the white shoes??

Hallie Grace, my mom, and I are going to a family reunion in Alabama this weekend so I started packing this afternoon.  Well, Hallie Grace has a pair of white shoes that she wears often (she wore them today) and I was looking for them to pack and couldn't find them anywhere!!!  I knew exactly where I took them off of her, but had no clue where they were.  I got a hold of Matt at work and asked him where they were and he told me to look in the seat of her car.  First thing I thought was her car seat, but then it hit me...she put them in the seat of her toy car!!!  We have a wild one on our hands!

First Day of Summer Day Out

Today Hallie Grace attended her first day of the Summer Day Out (or Mothers Day Out) program at our church.  It's called TLC "The Little Church, and she will be going Tuesday and Thursdays, 8:45-2:45.  This is her first "daycare" with other kids her age, so I'm so happy that she is getting that interaction!  Her teachers said that she was great!  :) 

Fun in the Sun

Hallie Grace and I went and watched Jamison play T-ball Saturday morning around 10 am.  I thought we would come home after the game, but we ended up spending the whole day with Matt's family!  We went out to eat after the game, and then we all got ready and went over by the river and played Volleyball.  Hallie Grace played in the pack and play in the shade, while her MeMe kept a good eye on her.  The rest of us had a pretty serious Volleyball game going on!  Sunday we went to church, and then we went to Matt's Aunt's house around 3 to swim.  We had a great fun weekend in the sun, until it started pouring down rain on the way home!  Looking forward to more fun days for HG this summer!

First Family Vacation

We have some really good friends who moved to Augusta, GA around September last year so we took a family vacation out to visit them.  They had twins in April; Samuel-who went to be with the Lord, and Abigail who is working hard in the NICU.  We really enjoyed spending time with them, because we miss them very much!  While we were there we went and saw precious Abigail, we went to the Savannah River dam, out to eat at a couple of local restaurants, up to South Carolina where we ate dinner in a neat little neighborhood, then down to Atlanta for a couple of days where we went to two Braves games, Olympic Park, as well as walking around most of downtown.  We had a great time, and Hallie Grace did great!  It was a 12 hour trip, but she did awesome!  We stayed busy, and we are so thankful for the opportunity we had to go on our first family vacation.
