"Little Man" Baby Shower

One of my really good friends from high school is having a baby boy in February, so a "little man" shower sounded perfect for little Cole.  The shower was on Saturday from 1-3, and we had a "Sundae" party.  Kaci received some much needed baby items, and I believe she had a great time.  It is always nice getting together with high school friends.  Here are some pics from the shower!

Such a GOOD girl!

We have been very blessed, and maybe lucky, to have such a GOOD baby!  She sleeps from about 8:30 to 8, she doesn't fuss a lot, and she is so stinkin happy!  As I say this though, times may start getting a bit tougher when she starts getting teeth in, but it'll be okay!  We are having a good time, and we just love this little girl so much!  Our routine in the morning is to wake up, eat breakfast, and then I turn on Disney channel while she sits in the floor with her toys.  No, she doesn't understand what's going on on the t.v, but she really likes it when she hears singing!  I think it's funny just watching her sit there like a big girl!

Good Times!

The past few days have been great! Friday night our friend Jason brought his two kids over, and they loved playing with Hallie Grace.  Saturday we had some close friends over, as well as my family.  We grilled burgers, played cards, and had a blast!  Sunday we spent the day relaxing, and then Monday was Matt's Birthday! Big 28!  His family came over, and we had chicken spaghetti, green bean bundles, rolls, salad, and a cookie cake..yum yum! ....We also played cards, and had a great night!  Hallie Grace has been such a good girl, and she is so happy!  This week, she has been sitting up very well on her own while sitting on the floor.  She's a growing girl, and I like to call her my chubby wubby!  :)  I got a few pictures from this weekend, but didn't get any from Monday!  Wish I would've taken more!

5 Months!

Time flies by so fast! Hallie Grace is 5 months old, and she has changed so much!  Her hair is not black like it was when she was born..It's lighter and thinner.  She has really gained some weight since we began feeding her rice cereal.  And she jabbers all the time!  We love it!  Some things Hallie Grace is doing now:  Rolling over in all directions, raising up on her hands while on her belly, and scoot backwards a little bit "attempting" to crawl.  She will probably be all over the place pretty soon!

New Year..New Beginnings

Happy New Year!!  Tonight we ATTEMPTED to give HG cereal on a spoon, but she wasn't really into it.  I read that it takes babies a little while to get used to eating from a spoon. so we'll get there!  Another thing we did tonight was we gave HG her first hair cut!  She had really long hair in the back, and after lots and lots of comments from one of my sisters ( :) )  we FINALLY decided to cut it!  It was a little sad, but it actually looks a lot better!
