And the Hard Work Begins

24 weeks and counting!

Before Matt and I knew if we were going to have a boy or a girl, we decided to paint the nursery a neutral color.  We figured with the neutral brown color the room would suit a boy or girl.  So, he painted right away.

WELL, March 28 rolled around and we found out we were going to be having a little girl!  SO, needless to say, we changed our mind on the neutral color and decided that our little girl needed a girly room!  During Matt's last 7 days off, he and my wonderful sister Ashley began painting.  They did a wonderful job, and I'm so thankful for the hard work they put in to making the room look perfect!

We decided on a light pink on the top, and lime green on the bottom with a white chair rail across the center.  It is looking great, and I can not wait to see it all finished!

The bedding we have chosen is called Jungle Jill by Carter's.  It is from BabiesRUs.  It contains jungle animals such as a big giraffe, monkey, and elephant.  It contains light pink, lime green, zebra and giraffe prints.

The furniture is going to be all white and the crib will be here soon!

Here are some pictures of my hard workers, and a few peeks at some of the items we've already bought for our little Hallie Grace!  She's already loved so much!

Putting painters tape on baseboards is very important...They are being very careful!

Thank you DD for the lamp!

Donations always welcome! :)

We were told to start buying diapers every trip to the store!

24 weeks, and she already has more clothes than her daddy!

More to come!

First Blog!

I am new to this blog business, but am familiar with how it works thanks to Leslie who has been blogging for a couple of years now.
I have decided to start my own blog containing special moments in mine and Matt's life since pretty soon, we will have a new baby girl to be showing off!
We will be naming our baby girl Hallie Grace Miller.  She is due August 20, 2011, and we can not wait until she arrives!  Actually, we can wait because we still have a lot of work to do!  I will do my best to update and post pictures of our progress, and before you know it, she will be here!
